Phoenix dactylifera Lignin based Nanohybrids Loaded Nanoemulsion Fabrication for Skin Care Applications
In this invention, we disclose the green fabrication of lignin or ligninZnO nanohybrids loaded oil nanoemulsion using Phoenix dactylifera biomass as lignin precursor. The lignin was extracted from Phoenix dactylifera biomass by hydrothermal assisted approach. The ligninZnO nanohybrids were synthesized using ultrasonic assisted method. The prepared nanohybrids were characterized by UVvisible spectroscopy, Frontier infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), powder Xray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Energydispersive Xray spectroscopy (EDX). The XRD of ligninZnO nanohybrids confirmed a ZnO formation on lignin matrix. The structural features of the ligninZnO indicate that spherical shape ZnO particles associated on lignin was observed. The lignin alone or ligninZnO nanohybrids were loaded in oil nanoemulsion using ultrasonic method. The emulsion UV protecting effect was studied and these results clearly revealed that formulation could be applicable for skin care applications.
